Made from a subtle blend of Malbec (87%), Merlot (12%), and a very low percentage of tannate, Château Lagrézette is the estate's premier cru. Distinguished by numerous awards, it is a wine for aging. It can improve with age for over 15 years.

* Wine is shipped in boxes of 6/12 bottles and in wooden crates for magnums, jeroboams and mathusalems.

Vinification and aging

  • Harvests: harvest by hand, ginning the grapes by hand.
  • Blend: 87% Malbec, 12% merlot, 1% tannat (depending on the vintage).
  • Type of soil: second and third terraces of the Lot, clayey-loamy soils on gravel on Kimmeridgian plinth, 120 to 160 m altitude, semi-continental climate.
