Cuvée Marguerite

The Terroir de Landiech is one block vineyard with only Malbec. We’ve got two big terroirs, one is only gravels and the second one is clay with gravels.  We prepare this vine to get very low yield, about 35 Hl/Ha. The Landiech terroir is perfect to grow and express all the Malbec characteristics with a warm climate and less rain than the other terroirs. Like this, we get the right maturity of the grapes earlier

Color
A beautiful rich, dark colour.

Nose

The bouquet displays a range of red and black fruits. With aeration, the wine reveals magnificent black fruit, liquorice, cherry nuances

Taste

In mouth, the wine shows its character right at the attack. It’s a full-bodied wine with a big structure but elegant. The wine has a fantastic balance and reveals all the fruits that we get to the nose. The end of the palate is long, with red fruit, liquorice and smoky notes.

product details

We hand pick the Malbec, the grapes travel with a refrigerated truck to the winery. We crush and destem the grapes and pick through all the small green grapes parts with 2 sorting tables in order to get whole berries. We fill some bins that go down on a large platform on the top of the tanks. The main goal is to fill the tanks using only the gravity to protect the integrity of the grapes.
